What is the procedure to get a PWD contractor licence?
Following is the procedure to get pwd contractor license,
Arranging documents – First & Foremost, you need to arrange documents to apply for PWD Contractor License. Following are some of the documents.
Id Proof, address proof, pan card, 3 passport size photos, solvency certificate from any nationalized or scheduled bank,degree certificate in case if you are a civil engineer, company documents in case of partnership or private limited or limited liability partnership companies.
Submission of documents – With above documents, you need to apply for PWD contractor license in respective Division or Zonal PWD Office.
Verification of documents – Documents which we submit will be verified by PWD department officials. During verification they decide on the class of license that can be given to you.
Issue of license – After verifying all the documents, pwd department will issue you pwd contractor license, containing details such as class of license, registration number, and validity period of License.
With PWD contractor license, you will be eligible to participate in tenders and take up construction works of any government department.
